Do I need a subscription?
No. Every Gardun device works fully without one — the app, sensor readings, and watering schedules are all included. There are no monthly fees, ever.
What phones does the app support?
The Gardun app runs on iOS 16+ and Android 12+. Pairing uses Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) is only needed if you want readings while you're away from home.
How long does the Sprout Sensor battery last?
About six months on a single CR2477 coin cell in typical use. The app warns you a few weeks before it runs low, and replacements are available anywhere batteries are sold.
What if my plant still dies?
Write to us. We'll help you read the sensor history, figure out what happened, and share the small adjustments that usually turn things around. Keeping plants alive is a conversation, not a warranty.
How can I get a Gardun device?
We don't sell online. Gardun devices live in a small circle of independent plant shops and garden studios we work with directly — write to us and we'll point you to the nearest one, or let you know when we're visiting your city.
Are the planters safe for herbs I'll eat?
Yes. Reservoirs and soil-contact surfaces are unglazed food-safe ceramic and BPA-free polymers, and the grow light spectrum is tuned for edible herbs and leafy greens.
